Ciática y embarazo
Según avanza el embarazo, y sobre todo en el segundo y tercer trimestre, es común que la mujer experimente dolores de espalda e incluso ciática. El aumento de peso, el crecimiento de feto o el sedentarismo son algunas de sus causas.
El nervio ciático es el más largo y ancho del cuerpo. Comienza en varios niveles de la columna vertebral y sus múltiples ramas se unen para formar un solo tronco nervioso. Su largo curso y su gran tamaño hacen al ciático, un nervio muy vulnerable a la presión o daño, provocando el dolor.
Generalmente, la ciática se debe a que la espalda se sobrecarga y se contractura. Además, las hormonas del embarazo hacen que los músculos abdominales se relajen, asà como los glúteos.
El dolor suele manifestarse como un tirón agudo que empieza en la zona lumbar irradiado a la pierna.
Para aliviarlo, existen ejercicios recomendables, asà como adoptar una postura correcta.
También podemos aplicar calor seco en la zona dolorida varias veces al dÃa, mantener la espalda recta, asà como evitar estar sentada durante tiempo prolongado.
También es importante utilizar un calzado adecuado, ni plano del todo ni con mucho tacón.
Por último, debemos evitar levantar peso y si lo hacemos, que sea en la posición correcta.

Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.

The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it’ll do even better in those areas, but for now it’s a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod’s strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.
